DOVES of Gateway, Inc.

What is DOVES of Gateway?              DOVES of Gateway is an emergency shelter and advocacy center that provides free services and basic needs to all domestic violence victims in the Gateway counties of Northeastern Kentucky which include Morgan, Bath, Menifee, Montgomery, and Rowan county.  With the use of local resources, public education, individual and group counseling and court advocacy ,  DOVES of Gateway provides a safe temporary shelter that allows victims to take control of their lives and live violence free.

As a public domestic violence shelter in Kentucky we serve and protect the victims of our service area through the help of the Kentucky Domestic Violence Association or KDVA. KDVA provides and administers state and federal funds to fifteen of KY programs, educates and promotes awareness to the Kentucky public, operates a Certification Training Program for all staff, and advocates for state legislative that initiates increased protection for domestic violence victims and their families.
